Ralph Lauren is, has, and from its proven track record it will continue to be a staple for clean essentials from business wear to casual.

Most are very well aware of the iconic “Polo” renditions. Although as of lately the understandably more pricier “RRL collections have been catching major wave and is expected to have a major resurge in popularity.

Fashioned and styled in what I can only describe as a post WW2 time capsule, the 2019 summer collection for “Double RL” features garments made of 100% cotton for comfort and breathability that will get you through this hot summer. As well as pieces such as their Boondock Sued Boot (featured below) with leather so supple I’ve made arrangements to have a couch fitted with it.

Whether the weather, Ralph Lauren has got you covered with premium wear for his and her. Which come to think of it only seems right considering the brand name…

manier x Embellish ?

Published

Brand new images of hand stitched and curated denim by manier  brand’s very own Maximillian Manier have surfaced!

Being the innovator of the renound- “self titled-seasonal wear” alone has mapped out a sure fire and trail blazing route to atop any list of up and coming designers.

His designs include reworked masterpieces which mainly consist of Levi’s Brand denim, although there has been verifiable accounts (as well as the D.S.D exclusive pictures we’ve featured below!) of Maximillian working on mock ups with what some have identified as Embellish Denim. Which may have surfaced on either’s social media accounts (links below).

Maybe it’s the ever-changing names, or maybe it’s the superior hand craftsmanship that will forever be synonymous with either brands. One thing is for certain is that regardless of the times or collab at hand, Manier is a force to recognize and reckon with. I’d keep a close look out for a chance to snag any limited production pieces for the up and coming 2020’s!

PUMA Unveils Game-Changing Fit Intelligence Technology

Published

on

PUMA today announced its latest footwear technology. Dubbed Fit Intelligence (Fi), it is the successor to AutoDisc, which launched just two years prior.

According to the German sportswear giant Fi “is designed to automate, fine tune, and adjust performance fit for PUMA footwear.”

With Nike building on its auto-lacing technology with the Adapt BB and adidas forging ahead with its accelerated footwear production at its SPEEDFACTORY locations, PUMA looks to bring its own, game-changing technology to market.

The first Fi footwear to launch is a running shoe that employs a micromotor that powers a cable lacing system. Simply gesturing up or down on the forefoot Fi module tightens or loosens the lacing system. Additionally, it comes with a smart sensing capability that adapts to the shape of the foot of each wearer.

Using an app, sneakerheads can monitor, adjust, and fine tune their Fi-equipped footwear.

“We have created a product that speaks to the future of sport which is life in motion. It’s fast and changing all the time,” said Charles Johnson, PUMA’s Global Director of Innovation.

Fi is the latest step in PUMA’s continued attempt to push the boundaries of performance and lifestyle product. In 1968 PUMA debuted the first laceless sports shoe with Velcro™ straps and followed that up in 1991 with the first cable closure, seen on the PUMA Disc.
