Vic Mensa’s 93PUNX “Camp America” Confronting Video Calls Out ICE

Vic Mensa‘s new band 93PUNX has just dropped its first song and accompanying video, called “Camp America.”
The song’s lyrics reference ICE director Matthew Albence’s comments in which he compared immigrant detention centers to summer camps: “So much fine, you lose count of the days / Playing hide and go seek inside of your cage / Daddy love you, so he sent you away / To Camp America.” The political song is also scathing of ICE’s family separation policy.
As for the video itself, it features Mensa in the role of a prison guard, watching over white kids reenacting real life detention center scenarios. Watch it above.
