Soy Panday, Glen Fox & Tavu Show Off New Artworks at DC’s Hub in Paris

On Friday, November 3, DC’s Hub in Paris invited artists Soy Panday, Glen Fox and Tavu to show off new artworks at a vernissage in a cellar below the brand’s showroom on the city’s busy Rue Montorgueil. The artists’ works may be familiar to readers through their designs for French brand Magenta Skateboards, in addition to exhibiting their work around the world, from Tokyo and Dubai to Bordeaux and San Francisco.

Each artist presented a range of original pieces in their respective signature styles. Soy Panday’s dreamy landscapes and flips on nature seem to explore what lurks below the surface, while Glen Fox’s complex illustrations, often hilarious, evoke the intricacies of a Kandinsky. Olivier Tavu, for his part, presented arresting works that featured legendary musicians, presumably some of his favorites, scrawled across maps of the cities that the musicians called home.

The original artworks were up for sale at very reasonable prices, making them accessible to Paris’ young skate crowd, while prints of select pieces in sizes of A2 and A3 were made available for even more affordable prices.

The exhibition is open now and runs until December 1. Make sure to drop by should you find yourself in the French capital at the address below.
