Facebook continues to tweak its reactions function, now implementing the added expressions to comments. Users will be able to indicate “love,” “haha,” “wow,” “sad,” and “angry” to individual replies, as opposed to news feed posts alone.
“We’ve heard from people they’d like more ways to show their reaction in conversations on Facebook, so we’re rolling out the ability to react to comments,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.
The new reactions to comments option is currently rolling out slowly to select users.

PUMA Unveils Game-Changing Fit Intelligence Technology
PUMA today announced its latest footwear technology. Dubbed Fit Intelligence (Fi), it is the successor to AutoDisc, which launched just two years prior.
According to the German sportswear giant Fi “is designed to automate, fine tune, and adjust performance fit for PUMA footwear.”
With Nike building on its auto-lacing technology with the Adapt BB and adidas forging ahead with its accelerated footwear production at its SPEEDFACTORY locations, PUMA looks to bring its own, game-changing technology to market.
The first Fi footwear to launch is a running shoe that employs a micromotor that powers a cable lacing system. Simply gesturing up or down on the forefoot Fi module tightens or loosens the lacing system. Additionally, it comes with a smart sensing capability that adapts to the shape of the foot of each wearer.
Using an app, sneakerheads can monitor, adjust, and fine tune their Fi-equipped footwear.
“We have created a product that speaks to the future of sport which is life in motion. It’s fast and changing all the time,” said Charles Johnson, PUMA’s Global Director of Innovation.
Fi is the latest step in PUMA’s continued attempt to push the boundaries of performance and lifestyle product. In 1968 PUMA debuted the first laceless sports shoe with Velcro™ straps and followed that up in 1991 with the first cable closure, seen on the PUMA Disc.

Apple’s Own Version of Netflix Could Launch as Soon as Spring
CEO Tim Cook has been keeping his cards close to his chest regarding Apple’s moves to boost its TV output, but according to a report on The Information, the tech giant is said to be readying content for mid-April ahead of a launch.
In an already saturated streaming market, it’s unclear how Apple intends to differentiate its offering from the services currently on offer, but we do know that it has plans for original content and has poached executives from Sony Pictures to add clout to its offer.
According to The Verge, Apple has already signed deals with Oprah Winfrey to develop new shows, ordered a Hunger Games-style show called See, a thriller series by Glass director M. Night Shyamalan, a series by First Man and La La Land director Damien Chazelle, a Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston-starring drama about a morning show, and a new space drama from Battlestar Galactica/Outlander creator Ronald D. Moore, among others.
The is no information yet about how much the streaming service will cost, and Apple is yet to reveal an official launch date. Expect updates over the coming months.
This New AR App Lets You Virtually Try on Sneakers
Online shopping from the comfort of your own home is no doubt convenient, but there’s always that lingering problem: not being able to try product on when it comes to clothing and footwear. In an attempt to remedy this, Belarus startup Wannaby presents the Wanna Kicks AR app, which allows you to virtually try sneakers on to see what they look like on-foot.
As Wanna Kicks reminds us, photos of sneakers can sometimes be deceiving, so AR helps ensure that what you see is what you get. To take advantage of Wanna Kicks’ AR technology, simply choose a pair of shoes from the 3D models in the app, then aim your smartphone camera at your feet. You can also move your feet to get a look at different angles, and even walk in the shoes.
Still not sold? You can save a picture of the sneakers on-foot and then share it on social media to see what your friends think.
“Our mission is to break online shopping barriers,” Wannaby CEO Sergey Arkhangelskiy told TechCrunch. “We believe that AR try-on can help customers to shop online and will wash away the difference between online and offline shopping. We see two major problems in the shoe market. Online conversions are quite low, and returns are quite high, in comparison to traditional ‘brick-and-mortar’ shopping. The ability to try sneakers with your phone before buying online should shift conversions, engagement and returns.”
“We’ve built Wanna Kicks for Gen Z and millennials who are interested in buying sneakers and eager to know whether they will fit their style or not,” Arkhangelskiy added. “The AR and AI community will love our launch as well — we’ve accomplished a really difficult task in computer vision and rendering.”
