Gucci Mane – I Told You Ft Young Thug

Gucci Mane continues to flood the streets with new music. After hitting us with his Woptober album a couple weeks ago, the ATL veteran decides to come through today and share a new song with Young Thug called “I Told You,” which will presumably see life on his upcoming project The Return Of East Atlanta Santa, dropping next month.

“These slides are Buscemi, my drawers and wifebeaters Givenchy/A nigga be handsome, these white women say that they want me/They say that I’m country but I’m number one in the country/It’s no need to tell me, I know you lil’ niggas is hungry,” Gucci raps on his song-opening verse.

Watch Slim 400 and YG Coast Through L.A. in “Bruisin” Video

Slim 400 and YG are no strangers to riding around cities like they have owned them their whole lives. Earlier this summer, the rappers appeared in YG’s epic video for “Word Is Bond” which saw the duo hopping around Tokyo like a less romantic, more hype version of Lost in Translation. Now, for a Slim 400 led-track, the two have turned their attention toward sunny Los Angeles for a heavy new visual for the song “Bruisin”.

Built around a sample from a Public Enemy track, “Bruisin” sees Slim 400 and YG cruising through the streets of Compton. It is taken from Slim 400’s online-only mixtape All Blassik, and boasts a beat that immediately calls to mind all the staples of West Coast G-funk. YG is still riding high from the success of his highly-acclaimed album Still Brazy, and is currently working on his follow-up mixtape Red Friday.

Slim 400’s All Blassik is currently unavailable on streaming services, but you can listen to YG’s latest release Still Brazy below:

Watch Meek Mill Drive the Trippiest Car Ever in “The Difference”

Last Friday Meek Mill released his new mixtape DC4, an expansive collection of tracks that feature the rapper’s now-characteristic level of bombastic swagger. And since his swagger cannot just be contained to sonic form, he released a music video for the track “The Difference” last night that captures said swag in the form of the trippiest car this side of Back to the Future‘s time-traveling DeLorean.

The track contains a featured guest-spot from Migos’s frontman Quavo, and the video sees him riding around in a car with Meek that has a full-on LED light show taking place on the ceiling. The rest of the video is spent seeing the two of them stunt at a leisurely pace down the street in this car with the doors, windows and roof open. And keep your eyes peeled for Desiigner, who does no singing or rapping whatsoever but looks like he’s having the time of his life.

Meek Mill’s new mixtape DC4 is out now. Stream it below via Spotify:

Justin Timberlake Reveals He’s Back in the Studio With Pharrell

You would be forgiven for thinking that Justin Timberlake’s career has taken a strange turn. This mostly stems from the fact that his chart-topping summer smash “Can’t Stop The Feeling” originated from a film called Trolls where he played a lovable creature named Branch. But fear not JT fans, for it seems that stellar music is headed our way. Timberlake revealed in a just-published interview with Variety that he is back in the studio with the one and only Pharrell Williams.

Of course, JT had initially teased this several months ago in an ambiguous Instagram post, but this is the first confirmation that that photo did indeed hint at upcoming work. Not counting his work for the Trolls soundtrack, this new music will make for his first official release since the double album The 20/20 Experience. Speaking on the new material, Timberlake said that, “it does sound more singular… If 20/20 sounded like it literally surrounds your entire head, this stuff feels more like it just punches you between the eyes.”

This also makes for an important reunion between Timberlake and Pharrell, who first created sonic gold with JT’s debut solo album Justified, spawning classic songs like “Señorita” and “Like I Love You.” Stay tuned to see what their re-pairing will produce.

Gucci Mane & Young Thug Join Forces for “I Told You”

Last week, Gucci Mane hit the strip club in his music video for “Aggressive“, where he was joined by fellow Atlantan Young Thug. But it turned out that the two of them were up to far more than making it rain on beautiful women. Gucci has just shared a new song titled “I Told You”, which features an absolute fire guest spot from Thugger. Listen to it below:

But a healthy amount of fire also comes courtesy of the joint-production job of Mike Will Made It and Zaytoven. The track is set to be the first single from Gucci’s upcoming album The Return of East Atlanta Santa, which may explain the use of jingle bells in the song’s opening moments.

This is but the latest in a huge musical output from Gucci since leaving federal prison over the summer. In the time since he has released the albums Everybody Looking and Woptober, in addition to a slew of standalone singles. And, in spite of all this, he’s still found time to make social media accounts for his bling.

The Return of East Atlanta Santa will be released on December 16. Stream Gucci’s new album Woptober below:

In other music news, Skepta has dropped both a new track and a new music video that are decidedly scary. Listen and watch right here.

Desiigner – Zombie Walk Ft King Savage

Desiigner and 19-year-old Brooklyn rapper King Savage join the ranks of the undead in the grisly new video for their collaboration, “Zombie Walk.”

Grant Curatola directed the sprawling, partly animated clip that follows Desiigner as he treks out to the country to meet King Savage at a party. When his car breaks down, however, the Brooklyn MC is forced to hitch a ride with a man whose cough turns out to be much more sinister. After the man takes a bite out of Desiigner’s neck, he sprints through the woods in a sequence intercut with shots of him performing the menacing trap track.

Zombie Walk” appears on Desiigner‘s debut mixtape, New English, which arrived this summer.
