Stream Jaden Smith’s New Project ‘The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story’ Here

Jaden Smith has released the highly-anticipated The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story, after having previously announced the project on Twitter back in October.

This new music arrives exactly one year after his debut album SYRE and is part of his Cool Tape series. It consists of 11 tracks, with a couple of titles referencing his debut album, such as “SYRE In Abbey Road” and “FALLEN Part 2”.

Unlike SYRE, which featured collaborations with A$AP Rocky and Raury, The Sunset Tapes is all Jaden. It’s Smith’s second musical release of 2018, following July’s SYRE: THE ELECTRIC ALBUM.

MF Doom Celebrates ‘Mm..Food’ Anniversary With Trippy “One Beer” Video

MF Doom is celebrating the anniversary of 2004 classic Mm..Food today, as the enigmatic rapper/producer has resurfaced with a new animated visual for his hit single, “One Beer,” one of the 15 tracks from the aforementioned studio album.

The two-minute visual directed by Philly artist Anhia Zaira Santana, also known as Distortedd, features an animated miniature MF Doom doll sitting on the shelf of a cyclops girl’s bedroom. The doll eventually unleashes a sinister side, trying to look up the girl’s skirt, as the clip also leads viewers through a psychedelic trip with the help of cartoonish mushrooms, beverages, UFOs, and more.

In addition to the new video, both MF Doom and Distortedd also teamed up on a graphic “One Beer” T-shirt based on the animated visual. The tee is limited to 500 pieces and can be purchased here for $29.99.

So This Is What Really Happened to Offset in That ‘Narcos: Mexico’ Promo

Yesterday, everyone took notice of the fact that Offset was missing from the Migos promo of Narcos: Mexico on Netflix. Instead, a random man with a slight resemblance to the rapper stood in his place for the script reading. Alas, the mystery of what happened to Offset that day has finally been solved in another commercial for the premiere that was unveiled this afternoon.

Offset stars in the short clip and explains why he was missing from the previous action—it has something to do with binge-watching a certain televison show. As you’ll soon find out, he had a pretty legitimate reason for being absent from the reading even though Quavo, Takeoff, and DJ Durel were not buying it. Watch it all go down in the post below. Narcos: Mexico is available to stream on Netflix now.

In other news, City Girls dropped their new album ‘Girl Code.’ Get all the details about the project right here.

Stream City Girls’ New Album ‘Girl Code’ Right Now

Fresh off their booty clapping “Twerk” anthem, City Girls returns with their new album, Girl Code which includes features from Cardi B, Jacquees, and Lil Baby.

This project is the follow-up to the rap duo’s phenomenal debut album Period which dropped back in May. Since then, JT and Yung Miami have been hailed as one of the most provocative female hip-hop acts in recent years. The theme for Girl Code is brought to life on the opening track “Intro (FREE JT)” which uses a soundbite of a phone call from JT in the Miami Federal Detention Center. From there, Yung Miami drops a fiery verse that diminishes any doubts about what these MCs are capable of accomplishing.

Girl Code is available to stream on all platforms now.
